is a fundraising event to benefit the Junior League of Grand Rapids.
Tickets
will be available for purchase in the Spring.
Emily
Giffin will speak about the trials and tribulations, joys and wonders
of being a working mother – and just how to balance it all. She will
also speak about how her writing has been influenced by her own life.
Emily is the New York Times bestselling author of Something Borrowed,
Something Blue, Baby Proof, and Love the One You’re With. Among
myriad praises, she’s been called "a dependably down-to-earth,
girl-friendly storyteller" by The New York Times. Emily is a graduate
of Wake Forest University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
After practicing litigation at a New York firm for several years, she
moved to London to write full time. She now lives in Atlanta with her
husband and three young children. Her fifth book, Heart of the Matter,
will be available in May.
