The Junior League of Grand Rapids is affiliated with the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). Formed in 1921, the Association provides continuity and support, guidance and leadership development opportunities to 292 Junior Leagues in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The Mission
The Junior Leagues of Grand Rapids is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Focus Statement
The trained volunteers of the Junior League of Grand Rapids are focused on enriching the lives and perspectives of women and children through mentoring and quality experiences that promote healthy lifestyles.
The Junior League of Grand Rapids is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization. All of our programs and activities are supported by League membership dues, foundations, corporate grants and other revenue producing efforts. Find out how you can support our efforts.
